Quality is at the core of everything we do at Novagard. Each and every employee throughout the organization shares in this belief and works to ensure we achieve our goals and objectives. We are proud to be ISO 9001:2015 QMS (with Design) and IATF 16949:2016 QMS (with Design) certified.

Quality at Novagard begins with our supplier relationships, with raw material specifications & incoming inspection criteria, and follows these materials as they move through our manufacturing processes. The Novagard Quality Team is committed to providing the best products, processes, and service to our customers.

Products

To ensure we are consistently delivering superior products to our customers, acceptance criteria are established and monitored for in-process, finished goods, and post production testing. Quality also supports the testing and validation of any trials, and performs shelf life studies to confirm that our products are performing as expected.

Processes

Novagard internal processes are well documented to assure consistency and standardization throughout our plant. SOP, SWI, and job aids provide support during both training and production shifts. Each workflow process is measured against established KPIs to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness. We regularly hold internal audits to monitor performance against set standards, and our commitment to continuous improvement actively encourages growth and development. Quality uses a Management of Change process for controlled change implementation.

Service

We support a culture that is focused on our customer – from the moment an order is placed until the end of the life of the product. We provide CoAs, CoCs, and any other product documentation required by our customers. We assist with timely responses and resolution of customer complaints, and support customer visits and audits.

Compliance

Our Compliance Department assures that all Novagard products meet regulatory requirements regardless of their market location. This includes management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), oversight of labeling requirements, and monitoring global requirements (such as REACH, RoHS, and Prop 65). This department is also responsible for maintaining third party certifications such NSF, AAMA, UL, Military, and Automotive.

Environmental Health & Safety

Safety plays a large role at Novagard. We are diligent in ensuring the safety of our employees, our community, and our customers.

We follow all state and federal guidelines, and are OSHA compliant. Our team safeguards our employees through:

• Onboarding sessions that include safety precautions and training to ensure proper handling of equipment, raw materials, and finished goods
• Corporate-wide safety training program
• Weekly GEMBA walks through our manufacturing plant
• Testing of raw materials to confirm that they are safe to be handled and used on the production floor
• Validation of equipment to certify each workstation is safely maintained and serviced regularly
