Novagard Hires Vice President of Building Systems

Novagard announced today that Mike Walters is joining as Vice President of Building Systems. In this newly created role, Mike will lead the Building Systems sales team, growing and expanding their strategic focus within the window and door industry.

“I’m really looking forward to growing our division and introducing new silicones and hybrids into the market,” said Mike. “We’ve got innovative products in our pipeline that will expand our reach and help improve our customers’ productivity.”

Mike is an accomplished construction sales leader with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, forging strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional customer service. Mike joins Novagard from Momentive Performance Materials/GE Silicones where he managed their distribution channel and led sales in North America across the OEM, Insulated Glass, and Structural verticals. Mike brings a wealth of experience, having also worked at Dow Chemical, Eastman Chemical, and GE.

Mike has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He lives in the Cincinnati area with his wife and son, where they enjoy spending time outdoors and are active in their community.
