600-200 is a two-component, addition-cure silicone that, when mixed, cures to a soft, flexible gel.

Our 600 Series Electronics-grade silicones are noted for exceptionally fast cure times, convenient mix ratios, solvent free formulations, and non-corrosive by-products.

After mixing, this silicone gel is clear with a working time of 15 minutes, and a cure time of 3 – 24 hours. This material is shipped in separate containers that are labeled Part A and Part B. While the material may be mixed by hand, it is more appropriate to use automated, meter-mixing equipment.

  • Details

For some production environments and below ground applications, the right compound for potting and encapsulation may be an addition cure gel system.

Certain materials, chemicals, curing agents, and plasticizers may inhibit the cure. The most notable are organotin catalysts, amino compounds, polysulfide, and other sulfur-containing materials. Do not use in or around highly oxidative chemicals such as liquid oxygen, chlorine, or peroxides. Not recommended for surfaces that are to be painted.

Do not estimate weights and measures. The product is mix ratio sensitive and requires accurate metering (1 part A : 1 part B v/v).
